Tightening Chevy Cruze Bolts

However, retightening the stud nuts in both cases follows the same sequence – a star-shaped pattern. It would help to approach the lugs in a cross-shaped order, except for early models. It is best to refer to the user manual for detailed illustrations.
Then all you need is a wheel wrench for the job. Approach the wheel bolts in the specified order and twist them to the defined torque specification (check the tables above for the precise torque spec).
From our experience, you should do a half-turn on all parts first and then repeat the round with the same force as the recommended standard. Have a test run and retorque if necessary.
