Essential Materials
- Castrol Edge Professional LL03 Oil 5W-30
- Oil filter OEM 07M115561
- Torx T-20 and T-30
- Spline drive bits 10 mm and 12 mm
- Flathead screwdriver
- Rags, a funnel, and a basin (optional)
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Remove the center cover with a flathead screwdriver to access the lower part of the engine where the 2 T-20 Torx screws and 16 T-30 screws on the control panel are located.
- Find the oil drain plugs labeled 1, 2, and 3 and loosen them. Do not work with plugs labeled A, B, and C.
- Grasp the supporting bar on drain plug #3 and move it away from its current position by removing the three T-30 screws.
- Unscrew the remaining 3 screws to access the oil tank at the back of the car.
- Use a 12mm spline drive bit to remove the plug at 40 Nm.
- Remove the filter and fill in the new oil until the dipstick is full. Our oil tank needs 10 liters in this step.
- Warm up the engine for 1 minute and monitor the oil pressure.
- Check the oil level again and add if necessary. In our case, we filled another 3-4 liters to reach the full level.
- Plug the parts back in and tighten them carefully
- Have a test drive to check for leakage before hitting the road again.
